Zachary Franczak (Tommy) is a seasoned actor and singer with over 12 years of experience in the theatre. Recent credits include Schroeder (You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown) and Tony (West Side Story). Having attended both the Marin School of the Arts for Musical Theatre and Santa Rosa Junior College for Theatre, Zachary continues his rigorous training at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, working towards a BM in Vocal Performance. He’s thrilled for The Who’s Tommy!

Emily Wade Adams (Mrs. Walker) is an active member of SF’s music scene. She is the lead singer of The Midnight Sessions (www.myspace.com/themidnightsessions), a local jazz band. From 2004-2007, she sang soprano with the SF Symphony Chorus. Other ROLT performances include Grease, A Little Bit in Love, A Broadway Gala and Into the Woods. By day, Emily works in Marketing for Gap Inc. Emily is also a newlywed and was married to her husband Greg on August 22nd!

Cameron Weston (Captain Walker) is thrilled to be performing in Ray of Light’s production of The Who’s Tommy. He most recently appeared as Lank Hawkins in Crazy For You with Broadway By The Bay. Other favorite Bay Area roles include Roger in A New Brain, Charlie Davenport in Annie Get Your Gun, Officer Lockstock in Urinetown, Joe Frisco in Dirty Blonde, Fredrik in A Little Night Music and George W. Manuel Caneri (Cousin Kevin) is thrilled that The Who's Tommy marks his third appearance with Ray of Light. Previous ROLT roles include Roger in Grease and Riff Raff in last year's acclaimed production of The Rocky Horror Show. He has also worked with Broadway By The Bay, Palo Alto Players, Hillbarn, Bus Barn, Foothill Music Theatre, and Pear Avenue among others. Favorite roles include Seymour in Little Shop, Pharaoh in Joseph, Scapino in Scapino, Garry in Noises Off, Rooster in Annie, Jesus in Godspell, Frankie in Forever Plaid and many others. Manuel would like to dedicate his performance to his loving friends, his mother, and sister Sevon for their unconditional love and support.

Deucalion Martin (Tommy, age 4) is making his theatrical debut and is very excited that it is with ROLT (although he won’t show his excitement on stage). At home, Deucalion entertains his parents with renditions of Spiderman and Star Wars, and can hum just about any superhero theme you can name. This fall he started kindergarten and hopes to do more performing in the future. Thanks ROLT!

David "Kelii" Kahawaii (Tommy, age 10) is excited to perform in his first rock opera with Ray of Light! Previous roles include Jason in Falsettos (Theatre Rhino), Benny Franklin Bache in Ben Franklin in Paris (42nd Street Moon), Jo Jo in Seussical (Woodminster Summer Musicals), Candlewick in Pinocchio (San Ramon Community Theater), Franklin Roosevelt Jr. in Sunrise at Campobello (Willows Theatre), Oliver in Oliver! (Douglas Morrisson Theatre) and Winthrop in The Music Man (Diablo Light Opera Company). David has also worked in commercials and on print ads. He appeared in the movie MILK and recently wrapped another called My Name is Khan, releasing in February 2010. He is in 8th grade and enjoys tennis, cello, oboe and theater.

Deirdre Ashby (Nurse/Ensemble) is very excited to be working with Ray of Light Theatre again! She last appeared with ROLT in the 2004 Broadway Gala. Deirdre recently appeared as Diana Morales in Tri-Valley Rep's production of A Chorus Line. She also loves sketch comedy and improv, and has appeared in several productions with Impact Theatre and Funny But Mean. During the day, Deirdre teaches 4th grade in Oakland. Talia Bar-Cohen (Dancer) is delighted for her San Francisco debut with ROLT! She received her BA in Dance at the University of Maryland and has performed in works by Dan Wagoner, Doug Nielson, Maurice Fraga, Alvin Mayes and Melissa Saint Amour. Talia was a core company dancer for the interdisciplinary music, theater and dance company Arts United of Washington from 2003-2007. From 2007-2009 she performed with the Ann Arbor-based modern dance company, People Dancing, and has just relocated to San Francisco. Talia wants to thank her family and fiancé, Adam, for all of their love and support!

Bobby Bryce (Pinball Lad/Ensemble) Favorite credits include: Alter Boyz, Mark (Willows); A Chorus Line, Mark (Tri-Valley Rep); Rebel, Julian (Exit Stage Left/World Premier); RentBoy Ave., David (Boxcar/World Premier); and Cabaret, Bobby/Victor/Victor (S.F. Playhouse/Altarena/Willows). Ray of Light credits include Costume Design for both Debbie Does Dallas: The Musical and High School Musical, and on-stage work in Grease (where he met his husband). Bobby would like to thank his family and Noah for their continued support of his dreams.

Sarah Bylsma (Mrs. Simpson/Nurse/Ensemble) is excited to be a part of her favorite musical for the 4th time! She graduated Millikin University in Decatur, IL in 2008 with a BA in Theater and a minor in Dance. This is her first ROLT show and couldn't be happier about it being Tommy. Some of her favorite roles have been Sally Simpson, Chiffon, Sheila and Mary Magdalene. Tommy was her first musical at the age of 11 and has been her favorite ever since!

Luke Chapman (Officer/Guard/Ensemble) is excited to be making his Ray of Light debut with The Who’s Tommy. Luke is a recent UCSB theater graduate. He was last seen in Broadway By The Bay's Crazy for You, and DTC's Hello Dolly and Funny Girl in Concert. He is also a recurring character on www.Gurillatv.com, which he hopes is up and running by the time you’re reading this. Much love to friends and family for their support.

Amanda Dolan (Specialist's Assistant/Ensemble/Mrs. Walker Understudy) is happy to be back on stage at the Victoria with ROLT, having spent last October as The Usherette in The Rocky Horror Show. Previous Credits include Hair (Sheila), Falsettos (Cordelia), Emo! The Musical (The Ensemble Member), Urinetown (Pennywise) and Floyd Collins (Nellie Collins). Off-stage, Amanda can be found producing shows with her theatre company, Beards Beards Beards: A Theatre Company, or being Communications Director for The Mountain Play Association in Mill Valley.

Joshua Fryvecind (Lover/Hawker/Mr. Simpson/Ensemble/Walker & Ernie Understudy) is thrilled to be performing alongside his son, Deucalion, who plays four-year-old Tommy. They live in San Francisco with beautiful wife and mother Mia, also a ROLT vet. Joshua first appeared with ROLT in their first-ever show playing the title role in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown back in 2002. For the last seven years he has played Bono in over 300 appearances with the award-winning U2 tribute band Zoo Station. He is also a licensed porcupine trainer.

Carol Ann Gawrych (Ensemble/Sally Understudy) has been involved with ROLT since last year, working backstage on The Rocky Horror Show and I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change! She attends CCSF and was in Long Day’s Journey Into Night alongside Lee Meriwether. Her other theatre credits include Rizzo in Grease, Lenya in Neil Simon’s Fools and Philia in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. Carol would like to thank everyone involved with ROLT and Corky St. Clair for all of his guidance.

Nicole Gonzalez (Harlot/Ensemble/Acid Queen Understudy) is honored to be in her second show with ROLT. After her last run in The Rocky Horror Show, she's back for more! Graduating with her BFA from The Academy of Art, Nicole’s many artistic endeavors include indie films, music videos, commercials, and (until recently) her Bay Area band of 8 years. Her favorite pastime is getting together with random musicians to jam. She also spends a lot of time ‘Dog Whispering’ to her vicious Cairn terrier, Chloe.

Caitlin Lavoie (Kevin's Mother/Ensemble) is thrilled to be making her Bay Area theater debut with ROLT. A Northern California native, Caitlin is a graduate of San Francisco State University with a BA in Drama. She also had the privilege to study in the United Kingdom for a year at the University of Hull's Drama School, where she originated the role of Carla in The Revenger's Tragedies. Christopher K. Lee (Dancer) is elated to be in his first production with ROLT after taking more than a year off from performing. During that time, Chris focused on his day job and training in the aerial arts with the hope of running away with the circus one day. However, all training and no performing made his soul restless. Chris’s most memorable productions include Chicago (dancer), Sweet Charity (dance captain), Kiss Me, Kate! (featured dancer) and being a special guest performer at the Dance Revolution Competition in London. Thanks to all those who believed in me, giving me the courage and confidence to do what I do.

Eliza Leoni's (Minister's Wife/Ensemble) favorite roles include Lisette in The Game of Love and Chance, Hilary/Miranda in Raised in Captivity and Sally in A Lie of the Mind. Most recently, she has been seen all over the Bay Area in Iolanthe and My Fair Lady with Lamplighters Music Theatre. She holds a BA in Theatre from Willamette University and is a proud San Francisco native.

Norman Luce (Soldier/Ensemble) is very excited to perform with Ray of Light Theater for the first time in Tommy. He is a graduate of the Foothill College Theater Conservatory and has been performing since the age of sixteen. Hobbies include swimming, making bead jewelry and reading graphic novels. His life ambition is to support himself with his craft alone. Norman would like to thank family, friends and teachers for all their wisdom and support.  

Bryan Pangilinan (Minister/Judge/Ensemble) is thrilled to make his ROLT debut with this amazing cast! Bryan holds a BM in Vocal Performance from SFSU performing in Orpheus in the Underworld (Mercury), The Coronation of Poppea (Lucano) and West Side Story (Indio) during his studies. He was most recently seen as Ching Ho in Thoroughly Modern Millie at Contra Costa Civic Theatre. Other favorite roles include Greg in A Chorus Line and Thuy in Miss Saigon with Tri-Valley Repertory Theatre.

Jepoy Ramos (Barrister/Ensemble) is thrilled to finally be working with ROLT. Jepoy moved to San Francisco in December, 2006, to be with his family and pursue theater. He has appeared in numerous productions including Boxcar Theatre’s Rentboy Ave (Twink), Bisceglie’s SF Follies (Featured Ensemble), Studio ACT's Songs for a New World (Man 1), Trumpet’s The Little Mermaid (Swing) and Joseph the Dreamer (Brother), and Blue REP's Sweet Charity (Oscar) and Merrily We Roll Along (Scotty). *AMDG*."

Alex Rodriguez (Soldier/Pinball Lad/Ensemble/Tommy & Kevin Understudy) is floored to be performing in a show he grew up listening to on his dad's old LP's.
