The 500-seat Victoria Theatre, the oldest operating theatre in San Francisco, recently celebrated its centennial anniversary. It was built in 1908 as a vaudeville house, where icons like Mae West performed on its stage. Over the years it became a movie theatre, then a burlesque house, and finally was restored in 1979 to its original glory. Last year, the Victoria Theatre hosted Ray of Light Theatre's critically-acclaimed production of The Rocky Horror Show.
